News 2014
08.02.14 Saturday
Got a few things going on over at the Stanley Justice page. I'm working at a place called Church Health Center doing video and helping with other things here and there. One of those things is a web-comic for their president, Antony Sheehan's, blog. It's been really fun to do. I've been doing some wedding videos, which I need to make a reel for. I've been submitting videos to festivals (no news yet). I finished a fun project for Charlie over at Don Legend Studios that you should check out. So I've just been settling post-grad and future bigger things are in the works (films? more comics? custom sauces?). Thanks a bunch for stopping by!
05.09.14 Friday:
I forgot today was friday and had to reschedule my chiropractor appointment. I suppose it's been a little busy. I will be graduating tomorrow with a Masters of Fine Arts degree, so that's exciting. My thesis show went well and I'm planning on submitting it to shows and festivals as an experimental short film. The cast and crew screening of Lights, Camera, Bullshit went great, everyone had a blast and we plan on submitting it to festivals later this year. Now I'll be looking for work, grants, lottery tickets, etc… while planning future work. (Gotta make a movie) So off to the drawing board! I've updated my graphic design page a little so have a gander if you like.
03.20.14 Thursday:
Don't Be Afraid of the News Season 2 has begun. Check out Episode 01 and Episode 02 and stay tuned for more in the future. I also recently finished working on my videos from my trip to Europe last summer. The product of that can be found here or on my Experimental Video page.
02.26.14 Wednesday:
Don't Be Afraid of the News is making a come back. Josh and I's first project was last visited three years ago and we felt it was time to return with all that we have learned since.
02.05.14 Wednesday:
Oh wow, been a little busy lately. I've been teaming up with my friends Matt and Katie Wening for their Wedding Photography Business; as the video guy that is. I've been developing my MFA Thesis Show for the end of the semester. Tomorrow kicks off the Memphis Comedy Festival and to open it Josh and I are hosting the Film Showcase at Studio of the Square. We're premiering our new skit and showcasing a bunch more. The video "Patch" that I am in with Chad Allen Barton was accepted into the Person of Interest art exhibit at MCA's Rust Hall. And a few more things here and there, but you shall hear more as they develop.
01.13.14 Monday:
It's time to start getting ready for the Memphis Comedy Festival. This year I got to do the poster/branding. Keep posted on their site. Josh and I are helping out with the film screenings this year. We're getting a list of good stuff to show.
01.07.14 Tuesday:
So those crazy folks at Don Legend Studios uploaded a new video. Czech it out here.
01.04.14 Saturday:
Happy New Year everyone! I'm sure there's some exciting stuff is in store for this year. We'll see how it goes. If you'd like a laugh, check out this video I posted recently of some local comedians at The P&H Cafe's Open Mic Comedy Night.
