We shot more of my "interactions" at the Memphis Comic and Fantasy Convention yesterday. Got some great stuff. I'll be putting up shots and examples over on my experimental page.

Been working on an interview series. I've been doing a few variations including some POV questionnaires I did at the Indie Memphis Film Festival this weekend. Hop on over to my experimental films to see the screen grab.

We've got our short "Pirtles Through Time" from the Roast up on youtube now. And it seems that one of our colleague's video pieces has resurfaced on the web: see Charlie Metz in "How to Tame That Pussy".
10.21.13 Monday:
Seems busy around here lately. Just finished hanging my show "Space for Thinkin' " which will be open on Friday during Trolley Night on South Main at Ameriprise Financial right next to the grad building. Thursday we have our shorts showcase going on. Always exciting to see your work on the big screen. Also I have some video art on display at the Mind Your Schnitzel show at MCA's Rust Hall.

Josh and I have organized a showcase of video shorts made by us and our friends. It'll be happening at Studio on the Square here in Memphis. Tickets are $3 and it'll be about an hour and a half of stuff. Come check it out!
09.26.13 Thursday:
Sunset Limited Opens this Weekend! Our Own Voice Theatre Troupe presents The Sunset Limited by Cormac McCarthy and directed by Chad Allen Barton. This is a novel in dramatic form and the cast includes T. C. Sharpe and Ron Gephart.
Roasting Pirtle’s Chicken. Why did the chicken cross the road? To attend Saturday night's comedy roast of Jack Pirtle's Chicken owners Cordell and Tawanda Pirtle, of course. Josh and I will be screening a short video we made as tribute to the Pirtles.
Wow, this month went by fast.

And Katrina created the eventbrite page for The Roast of Tawanda and Cordell Pirtle. Check that one out as well!
I got to do the posters for both of these events.

It's episode 09 of The Brandon Sams Untitled Comedy Podcast, with special guest Eric Huber. (Memphis Filmmaker and Artist) Recorded on location at the P&H Cafe, in Memphis Tennessee.

Here is the inaugural Sweet Tree Rat King Podcast. It's a commentary track to the film, Get the Gringo.

If you go here you can see the Kline-a-Paloozadelic episode of Twin Face Kline that Chad Allen Barton and I were on where we were talking mostly about his upcoming feature film, Lights, Camera, Bullshit.

Last weekend the fellas at PMP screened Empire Builder at Black Lodge Video. I liked the film. A lot of breath to it. After the film we actually got to Skype with the director, very cool.
08.02.13 Thursday:
Here is a link for Chess Club. Directed by Robert Rowan and written by him and the other Terror Comedy fellows. It was a part of Memphis' 48 Film Fest and wound up winning the awards for Best Acting, Best Writing, and the Audience Choice prize. I got to have a small role in the film and I made the end credits.
